Erica Tempchin - September 2009

It has been quite some time since I had given you an update on baby sun conure #103 (who was for about 2 days named Ares, but then I found out she was a female, so I named her Joia).
Joia is doing amazing.  Her feathers have started changing color, shes got yellow freckles on her back right now in a ring pattern, very interesting looking.  She is the most friendly bird I, and the people who meet her, have ever encountered.  She goes outside with me when it is warm enough.  I got a harness for her when she was 4 months, so she got to spend a lot of the summer amongst the sun and in the  park.  She lets everyone pet and play with her, has yet to bite anyone! Shes a real big fan of walks in central park.  At night she likes to crawl into the colar of peoples shirts and whisper sweet nothings into their ears.  She also loves to roll over and get her belly scratched.  I know that all of these amazing things that she does is because the two of you raised her and handeled her so well those first two months.
What else does she do that is just too precious...
She says 'hello' when someone walks in the front door.  She says 'mine' every once in a while, when you ask her whos belly it is when you scratch hers, shes still working on that one.  she makes the sound of blowing kisses when you ask for kisses, and even when you dont and shes just feeling loving.  She laughs when someone in the room laughs really loud, shes got an evil laugh, its very funny.  And lastly, she sits around with her hand on her chin, holding up her head, like I do when Im sitting at my computer all day long right next to her.
I have attached two pictures, one of her hand on her chin like I do, and one of her and me having lunch about a month ago out at a cafe in the Lower East Side.
Talk with you again soon :)

Lindsay our sun conure is doing great. What a wonderful addition to our bunch. She is so well adjusted as a whole and yesterday Bo's grandchildren came over and Lindsay was wonderful. She loved all the attention and was handled for quite awhile (supervised of course)
I also was wondering if you could keep me in mind for a macaw. I am in n o hurry for one but would prefer one that you would think to be the best choice for a first time macaw person.
I also was wondering if you sell or know someone who sells the hanging fleece "wreath" that you sent with Lindsay. I would like a spare and also one for my mustache parakeet to sleep on.
Thank you so much again and hope to hear from you...Gail

George and Jodie do a great job with there birds and keep you up to date with pictures of your baby bird. We recieved a baby Blue Crown from them and she is just the greatest bird you could imagine.

I am very grateful and extremely happy to have chosen CNY Aviary. They are excellent breeders and kept me updated on my sun conures progress. I have pictures of my baby since he was just a little egg. George and Jodie even sent me video clips of my growing baby. Jodie prepared my baby's crate with a liner, toy, swing and food. I had a truly wonderful experience and would recommend them highly to anyone looking to purchase a feathered friend.

George and Jodie once again thank you so much for everything especially, for picking out such a wonderful little sun for me.

Stella is great. She has become quite noisy, but that is to be expected with a Sun Conure. She is very happy, affectionate and loving. You guys did an amazing job!!! We are so pleased. I do not have any pictures as of yet. We mean to keep taking them but forget. When we do. I will be sure to pass them along.

Best Regards

From the initial contact to the continued support, both George and Jodie have been an absolute joy to interact with.

To top it off, our Sun came home in perfect condition and had no problems adapting to it's new home. This is our first bird and it is very affectionate and friendly of which had to be due to the care and attention it received while being weaned.

If we decide for others, there will be no doubt that we will be return customers.

Thanks Jodie and George!
