Three Amigos

Introducing the 'Three Amigos' - these three are from our latest clutch of Military Macaw babies. When we got the parents of these babies, we were told that they pace themselves and always had their box on. The parents also liked to sleep in the box (nestbox) so even after they double clutched for us we left the box with them. They surprised us with the third clutch of the season with 3 eggs. We left one for the parents to hatch but we had to pull the baby in a few hours as we realized the mom did not know how to feed the little one. She kept pushing her underneath her like an egg. The other two hatched in the incubator. So now we have these three little ones. They are so little and cute...
