Jeda goes home

'Jeda' - Our baby Military Macaw went home yesterday! - well it is a time of joy and sadness at the same time. We are so happy for 'Kurt and Monica' as this is their first big bird and we feel that Jeda is perfect for them. She is very outgoing, inquisitive, and just a very pleasing personality. She was hand chosen (by me of course!) just for them and I am so happy to say that it is going to be a great match. Of course Jodie is a little sad and missing the little one already and I do not blame her for feeling that way. She raised and fed her from day 1 and she took naps with them when they were older and spoiled them.

'Gabby', Jeda's clutch mate is going home the coming Saturday. She was missing her sister yesterday and today she seems to be adjusting pretty good. The next two babies from the second clutch is growing up quick. The oldest of the two already fledged. Both the babies are eating all the soft food pretty good and one thing that comes to my mind about these two are 'how sweet they are' to everybody. It is just amazing, and we like it that way!
