Lucky comes home

Last weekend we went to PA and picked up Lucky - a male Blue Crown Conure to keep our female (Seaweed) company. Like Seaweed, Lucky had lost his mate a few months ago and was lonely. It was such a coincidence that Carol, had him available and we were able to go get him at the right time. Thanks Carol. We do not expect much from this pair, but at the least, they are not alone.

In other news, we have the Sun's and the Military's on eggs and due to hatch in the next couple of weeks. The Sun's were having a bad year and we are hoping that this clutch will be the turn around. The Military's are going for their first clutch of the season - almost after a year of last years babies. We are excited and Jodie is looking forward to feeding and raising these little ones. We are trying to get everything done around the house including new laminate flooring, garage cleaning and all before the little ones come.
