We do have some baby news to share - The first of the Sun babies hatched last Saturday and the parents are happy and feeding the baby. The second baby hatched late on Tuesday and based on the eggs that were fertile, we are hoping for two more babies from this clutch of 5 eggs. We pulled the Military eggs last Thursday and 2 are fertile out of the 3. The first baby hatched Monday morning and the second one hatched Tuesday night. Both the babies are being hand-fed by Jodie every hour and half and are doing great. With the first baby hatching we were able to capture the actual hatching process on video and it was just amazing to say the least..lol. In other news, the Severe pair is sitting on another clutch of 3 eggs. But being a very young pair we do not believe they are fertile. The new pair of Blue and Golds are also sitting on a clutch of 2 infertile eggs. The summer is coming to a close and we have the pressure washing of the cages to be completed before the cold weather is here!!!! But I am sure Jodie is happy as the kids will be back to school in the next couple of weeks..lol.
