Update on the Baby Blue Crown with Splayed Leg

The baby Blue Crown is responding well to the therapy. After having his legs tied for 2 days he can now bend the leg at the joint where the foot and the leg come together. Now we are working on the joint where the leg meets the body. What I have done is made a make-do sling using the tape that sticks to itself and not the skin. I have him suspended from my banana holder. He is hanging just so that his legs touch the bottom of the incubator. He feels the bottom and moves his legs to try to stand. This is exercising his little muscles and joints. Again, this is one of the worst cases that I have ever seen being that his legs ran in the North and South position. Anything I have ever seen has been in the East and West position. So this is actually a new learning experience for me as well. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this little guy recovers completely and will keep the updates coming with his progress.
