Welcoming Scarlet and Frankie

So one big news, this one just happened so quick but we are excited about it. Today we added a pair of Scarlet Macaws to our Aviary. Meet Scarlet and Frankie - They are absolutely gorgeous and are slowly settling in. We have some pictures of them on the front page of the site.

We got them from PA and it was a nice and long drive for me to go get them. I started yesterday evening and got back with them by today afternoon. Jodie was at home taking care (hand-feeding) the babies and also setting up their cage. By the time we were back it was all ready for them. They got a wonderful shower of mist and they seemed to eat the veggies good too in addition to the pellets.

We are hoping that they settle down and breed for us. Crossing fingers and hoping for it to be soon.
