About Us

We are a small family owned aviary located in Central New York. We love our birds and our first priority will always be to these beautiful feathered friends of ours. We breed different exotic parrots including Macaws, Cockatoos, Conures and Quakers at our aviaries. We are not a commercial bird farm where the economics of scale reflect on the conditions and love the caretakers are able to provide for the birds. We believe in a small, healthy and loving breeding program where we are able to concentrate on the quality of the baby birds.

The store (CNY Aviary Store) was started to provide affordable cage and toys to customers who bought baby birds from us. As breeders we get wholesale discounts from manufacturers and we pass on all the savings directly to the customers. We just want to make sure those customers who buy baby birds from us has access to high quality cages and toys at a price they can afford. The cages and toys you see here are what we use in our house and we like the quality of construction and the features they provide. So we can comfortable say that these cages are in essence ‘Bird Tested and Approved!’ by our own flock.

To keep the overhead down, we do not carry a lot of inventory. We also try to order as a group to increase the discounts we can squeeze out of the manufacturer, who always goes by the policy of ‘More you buy, more you save’. If you want the cage or toy delivered to you tomorrow, then we are not your ideal option. But if you want to save a lot of money and get a very well made product that is going to last for a very long time, then we are the right choice for you.
